Well, several things, actually!
First of all, I have embarked upon gaining knowledge about health and wellness on several occasions, usually in response to an issue or ailment that I or my family happened to be dealing with. Turns out, I've learned some really Good Stuff along the way (and still am)! As a result, I'm pretty passionate about making sure the food we put in our body is actually food and not that pretend stuff that'll fill you up, but not even come close to fueling your body. Someday, I will have a hippie bus from which really good food will be available!
Why a hippie bus?
We're all about peace, love and freedom, so it seemed appropriate! We have groovy kids who all love music, look out for the little guys, and make the world a more beautiful place for just being in it. One who loves running, actually ran herself into a cracked hip, thus the temporary name 'The Cracked Hippie'. You think that stopped her from running and achieving her goals? No way, man! She's so groovy, she went on to run the Hurt 100! Such determination and commitment... I call that Good Stuff! Another daughter is a guitar-strummin', smooth as butter singin', braided hair wieldin', peace and love lovin' bonafide 'Hippie'. For real, that's actually the name she carries on her job name tag!
Here's a super-cute Good Stuff tie-in...
My dad was a police officer killed in the line of duty when I was a wee child. So wee, that my first memory was at his funeral. I know... bummer, right? Well, my grandma used to tell me a story about when he was a little fella. They were sitting at the breakfast table and my uncle was up to some mischief. (this was not surprising to me, even as a child... I love that mischievious guy!) My cute lil' daddy said, "Hey, you can't do that 'cuz we're made of good stuff!" OMG... how adorable is that?? So yeah, I'm honored to carry on the legacy of Good Stuff!
