You are Loved!

Seriously, you are... unconditionally, even!

Don't feel worthy? Welcome to the club!

Whether we're sure about it or not, the fact doesn't change that we are unconditionally loved by the very Creator of everything. I will let you in on a secret, though... the sooner we decide to believe it, the more Good Stuff we see in our lives! Not because God is holding out on us until we believe... no, He IS Love and He's already got our Good Stuff ready and waiting on us. Choosing to believe it is like opening the door to a whole new way of life!

I mean, just think about it... you have a hard day, things aren't going the way you envisioned they would. One might be tempted to feel super unloved, wrecked with anxiety at the thought of the proverbial ship going down and having no power to stop it. Panic overwhelms you until you can't breathe. (oh yeah... I've been there, too. Definitely not the Good Stuff!)

Now, imagine how you might respond knowing without a doubt that the Almighty has His loving eye on you. You are not forgotten. You are not unseen. Quite the opposite, He has good plans for You that He laid out long before you were even born! There's no promise of days without trials, but there is the promise that you can let Him be your Defender.

It was actually quite freeing when I realized I can relinquish all the control I think I want. Especially when it's to the very One who created me and knows exactly what I need to have the best life ever!

'Freeing' might be a bit of a surprise when thinking about handing over the controls to your life. You might think there are a lot of rules you have to follow or something. Jesus cleared it up for us as far as the rules go... Love God and love others. As long as you're doing that, you're already doing all the other. Simple, right??

Of course, simple isn't necessarily easy, especially when you're trying to love the guy that just cut you off in traffic without knowing the amazing Love that Jesus has for you... even when you're the one cutting someone off in traffic!

Do you know Him? He is key... He is the linchpin to life. Seriously, nothing and nobody would be here without Him.

Sure, it takes time to build trust, but choosing to start the journey is so worth it... for your quality of life here and now and also for eternity!
